PHIL B.

Phil is undoubtedly one of the top DJ’s on the US Circuit today. In fact, he was voted DJ of the Year in the 10th Annual JustCircuit Awards last February and continues to please audiences everywhere he spins with his well-known style and crowd-pleasing sounds. Known in his hometown of San Francisco for his legendary performances at MASS, Aftershock and Industry, Phil’s versatility as a DJ has made him a favorite with partygoers everywhere. The happy, feel-good sounds of MASS-San Francisco’s infamous tea dance ritual are still widely discussed around the globe.Phil B’s journey began in Perth, Australia at Connections Nightclub, where Phil honed his skills and sound for four years before spreading his wings and landing on the turntables of San Francisco in 1993. Phil quickly built up a loyal following playing events on the blossoming San Francisco club scene, but it was his residency at Pleasuredome, alongside legendary DJ’s Jerry Bonham and Neil Lewis, that propelled Phil to national attention.

During a career spanning more than fifteen years, Phil B. has appeared at some of the biggest clubs and events on the US Circuit. From Universe, Metropolis and Mezzanine in San Francisco; The Tunnel and Roseland Ballroom in New York; Crobar and Level in Miami; The Mayan, Avalon Hollywood and The Factory in LA; Montage in San Diego; Shampoo in Philly; the Pavilion on Fire Island; the White Parties (on both coasts); Winter Party Festival in South Beach and Independence July 4th Week in Provincetown – Phil is always in demand.

Whether Phil is playing one of his renowned T-dance sets (White Party, Sundance, MASS), peak-hour (Blue Ball, Viva Las Vegas, Industry at Mezzanine), or a harder after-hours set (Aftershock, Bump, Red Eye), Phil’s passion for his craft is clear.

As a talented remixer, Phil’s production credits include work on tracks for Grace, Livin’ Joy and a number of projects for BT. Phil B.’s 2000 compilation CD Music For The Clubs’ was one of the year’s highest selling dance compilations, spending six months in the Tower Records Top 10.

Phil is an active reporter for Billboard Magazine’s Hot Dance Club Play Chart. In 2006 Phil performed at the Winter Party in Miami (main event), The San Diego Zoo Party (with DJ/Producer Tony Moran) and is a resident DJ at Avalon Hollywood. Tomo brings to PAPA a variety of energetic musical styles - circuit, vocal, tribal, progressive and tech house. Whatever he plays, he sets fire to the dancefloor with uplifting feel-good music that will make you dance the night away.

ISAAC ESCALANTE

Isaac Escalante is one serious dude. Google his image, and you’ll see photo after photo of a pensive expression peering out from deep, dark-set, soulful eyes. Don’t let the photos fool you, however: On the dance floor, this Mexican mixmaster knows how to throw down hard-driving music to make a party come alive and stay that way, hour after hour. In the space of a very few years, Escalante has risen from the clubs of Mexico City and Puerto Vallarta to become an international DJ superstar.

From Divers/Cite in Montreal and Prism in Toronto to the Gay Village in Rome and Songkran in Bangkok, Escalante has been banging out the beats in DJ booths around the world as well as back here in the States where he has recently appeared at Industry in San Francisco and at Urge in Miami this past July with DJ Abel.

One thing you can say about Escalante: This maestro is master of the house (music, that is) who knows how to keep the boys moving with heart-thumping tribal beats that make the dance floor throb. Coursing through all of his music is a Latin-tinged flavor that syncopates and gives it soul and depth.

Along the way, he’s also made an international name for himself in the studio, with productions of forward-looking tracks that have made his name as familiar on mainstream dance floors as gay ones. In 2005, he released “Cheater,” which began a long string of underground hits through songs like “Monaco” and “Zambomba,” and into the 2010s with “Galaxy” and “Love Me.” He’s also a go-to remixer for artists including Ronen Mizrahi, Bruno Renno and Fc Nond. Considering his avant-garde bent, it’s no surprise that he cites influences like Klaus Nomi, David Bowie, the New York Dolls, Amanda Lepore and Victor Calderone.

Escalante cut his DJ teeth while still in his teens spinning for friends’ parties, but he soon moved up to fashion shows. It was in the clubs of the gay mega-resort of Puerto Vallarta, however, that he really broke wide and started to attract the attention of promoters from North and South America. He was already becoming widely known in Europe and Canada when he set out to conquer the dance floors of the U.S.

One of his first stateside gigs was Long Beach Pride’s closing party, which he has been playing since 2008. In 2010, he helped DJ Paulo celebrate his birthday at Club Dream in Miami. Producers of the major Circuit weekends soon came calling, and Escalante answered with a sound that landed him coveted gigs playing the Miami White Party’s pool party and White Dreams at Salvation as well as the main party at Dallas’ mammoth Purple Party and the WE Party Airline Boiling Point party during Miami’s Winter Party.

Miami is a natural second home for Escalante, but he still returns regularly to Puerto Vallarta, where he is treated with all of the honors of a hometown boy made good. If there’s a major party in this major party town, Escalante will probably be there in the DJ booth.

If there was one signature moment when it became clear that, as far as Americans were concerned, Escalante had truly arrived, it had to be when he was chosen to spin at the Work party held at Roseland Ballroom in New York City during Pride of 2013. The annual marathon dance event turned into a tribute to its dearly departed creator, Peter Rauhofer, with his untimely passing just the month before. Escalante joined Chus & Ceballos, Eddie Martinez and a tiny coterie of other DJs who embodied Rauhofer’s hard-driving aesthetic. It was truly an ingathering of the tribe, and Escalante was recognized as one of the key figures anointed to continue the tradition.

When asked about the smoldering quality that’s in his music and those brooding photos, he just shrugs a reply: “I think Latin guys have something special.” In his case, that’s an understatement.

BRET LAW

International DJ / Producer / Remixer DJ Bret Law has become one of the fastest rising stars in the global gay dance scene. His blend of house, dance and circuit combined with an extensive knowledge and love of a variety of dance music means there’s always an element of surprise to his sets. Although fully experienced behind the decks, Bret has now expanded beyond his home territory to gigs across the US and internationally and has now guested alongside DJ Grind, Drew G, Abel, Joe Gauthreaux and shared the stage with the likes of Deborah Cox, Betty Who and Alexis Jordan.

In 2016, Bret Law teamed up with Manila-based DJ Jay Santos as a production partner and  together they’ve released over a dozen official remixes this year, including their Mighty Mix of the Joe Bermudez smash “Sunrise” that went to #1 on the Billboard Dance Chart! They’ve also remixed the likes of DJ Grind & Toy Armada, Dragonette, Inaya Day, Philip George, and more!

DJ Bret Law releases a monthly podcast called JAMS! that can be streamed on Podomatic, Mixcloud and iTunes. The chart-topping podcast includes brand new tracks as well as exclusive mashups and re-edits! They’ve been downloaded across the world and the guest mix he released for DJ Grind went straight to #1 for ALL podcasts on Podomatic !

TOY ARMADA

Based in Manila, Philippines, Toy Armada has been relentless with his true form on the decks since 2003. His eclectic style includes a fusion of thunderous tribal beats, stomping sexy electro, uplifting vocals, and raging anthems, making him a valuable asset to Manila’s clubbing scene.  He's headlined major events across Asia, including Singapore’s PLAY, Taboo, Azzura Beach Club, Avalon and Beijing’s club “Destination” to name a few.  In 2016, he headlined two of the world's biggest gay circuit events -- Jeffrey Sanker's WHITE PARTY BANGKOK and the iconic Winter Party Festival Beach Party.

Toy, however, is more than just a boy who works the DJ booth; he's also an accomplished producer and musician.  Together with his production partner DJ GRIND, Toy Armada is also a Billboard #1 remixer and producer, with official remixes that have topped of the US and UK Dance/Club Charts. DAN SLATER

Dan Slater is an Australian DJ based in Sydney who is taking the world by storm.

After years in the club scene as one of the most in demand dancers and show producers, Dan’s love of music eventually lured him onto the decks – and this new chapter has already gained him the attention of promoters and clubbers within Australia and abroad. 
He kicked off his DJ career as winner of the Sydney Mardi Gras DJ Spin-Off Competition. Since then he has gone onto sets at some of the best clubs and parties in the country, and secured residencies at Hugos, BEYOND, Beresford Sundays and ARQ.
With a hot sound to match his hot looks, it’s no wonder Dan has become the next big thing on the scene.  In just a short time , Dan rocked dance floors across the country –  and at every event he was immediately re-booked.  His upbeat chunky house sound brings a European energy to his sets – and Dan proves himself extremely adept at reading a dancefloor and adapting the vibe to the crowd.
In 2013 Dan completed his first European tour that saw him spin at some of the most major clubs and events from London to Mykonos, Frankfurt to Copenhagen.

2014 has seen a major jump in Dan’s international profile – having headlined the Hordern Pavilion at Sydney Mardi Gras 2014, for international party brand PAPA at their Sydney event, and Big Gay Day in Brisbane and gigs in China, Tel Aviv and New Zealand and his first DJ tour of the USA – spinning at Pride New York, Denver’s White Party, Seattle, San Francisco and Seattle’s infamous Pride.
Back in Australia for one week only Dan headlined Melbourne’s infamous Poof Doof and Hugos and Beresford in Sydney before jetting back out for gigs in Shanghai and Beijing. He hit Europe for a two month series of dates at some of the best parties and clubs in Nice, London, Paris, Munich, Milan, including the world famous EXLSIOR in Mykonos, before heading on to rock the dance floor at Fantasia in Dubai.
Already his calendar for 2015 is looking busy with confirmed bookings at some major parties in Asia and the United States and global  interest in Dan steadily rising, as he spreads his magic around the world.
2014 also saw Dan’s first foray into the studio for production and in the short space of a few months has seen him produce official remixes for Cher and Carmen Elektra, as well as Britney Spears and Marcia Hines.

ARON

Born in Tel Aviv Israel, DJ Aron moved to Europe at the age of 24 to further his DJing career, which began spinning for friends at private parties. There was an instant buzz surrounding his House Electro beats and his popularity began simply by word of mouth. The turning point in his career was when he was booked to play at the legendary Queen Club (Paris), which got him regular Queen gigs, as well as at Red Light (Paris) and Folies de Pigalle (Paris). After being noticed by major promoter Giuliano Bavutti, Aron was booked for parties in Italy. Immediately he became one of the residnets dj's at Folies De Pigalle playing with DJs Ralf and Claudio di Rocco at all the biggest Folies de Pigalle (Italy) tours and events: Dsquared and Frankie Morello parties, Fridays at Cocorico, Mykonos 2005. DJ Aron presently plays as a guest on Saturdays at Titilla room - Cocorico, Amnesia Milano, Scuderie Fever Partys in modena, Chandlier Motel and all over europe.

TOM STEPHAN

Tom Stephan is an artist who truly marches to his own drum. The US-born UK-based DJ has been in-demand internationally for well over a decade. Tom has headlined the world's most highly regarded parties and clubs from Pacha NYC to Stereo Montreal to Ageha Tokyo, while holding down residencies at BRUT and BEYOND in London and Matinee Barcelona.

In the studio, he's among the most accomplished, with a discography of original and remix work that reads like a who's-who of global dance music producers: from Basement Jaxx to Beyoncé, Missy Elliot to Major Lazer. Most well known for his “Superchumbo” moniker, Tom sound was born out of the NYC after-hours scene and has now merged with his home base in East London.

Wayne made his dj’ing debut at London’s infamous Red Heart party in April 1996, performing alongside Grace Jones to a dancefloor of over 3,000. However, it was his 9 year residence at London’s world’s famous Heaven Nightclub that made Wayne G a household name. Wayne has gone on to play huge festivals all over the world including Sydney Mardi Gras, Sydney Harbour Party, Sydney Gay Games, Berlin Love Parade, World Pride, The Adventjah Festival, Folsom St Fair, Fantasia in Bangkok, White Party Palm Springs, Angel in Shanghai, Southern Decadence New Orleans, Provincetown Pier Dance, Winter Party Miami, Gay Days / Wonder World Orlando, Hong Kong Pride, White Party Miami, WinterPride, Provincetown independence, Destination in Beijing, Hell & Heaven Brazil, San Diego Zoo Party, Whistler Ski Week, Trip in Phuket, Connections in Perth, Big Gay Day in Brisbane and the prestigious Fire Island Pines Party & Independence Day Party.

Remixes over the last few years alone have included Ariana Grande, Sia, Katy Perry Kei$ha, Swedish House Mafia., Icona Pop, Carly Rae Jepson, Nelly Furtado, Australian Idol winner Samantha Jade, Luciana, Erasure and most recently Tamia, Conrad, Clary Brown, Kathy Sledge, Jess Glynne, Wrabel and Charles Perry. Wayne was also the official remixer behind the Tony winning musical Kinky Boots, putting his midas touch to 2 tracks from the show. His own label, Bennu Recordings has worked on original productions with a range of artists including: Debby Holiday, Alison Jiear, Shauna Jenson and Peyton.

His recent productions have included output on a number on the following influential dance labels; Fierce Angel, Hed Kandi, Flawless Recordings, Tommy Boy, Centaur and Almighty Records.

Wayne has also worked with artists as diverse as Tony Award Winner ‘Levi Kries’ on his single ‘Be Alright’, Darren Hayes on his beautiful single from 2012 ‘Bloodstained Heart’ to Dolly Parton on her classic ‘Peace Train’.

This year Wayne G was inducted into the Just Circuit Hall Of Fame for DJ/Producer/Remixer. Nominated alongside Ralphi Rosario, Dave Aude, Barry Harris, Victor Calderone and Billy Carroll

Averse to categorization in any one particular musical style, Wayne takes crowd on a musical journey starting with house, electro, tribal, tec and anthemic vocal house and bringing the energy, percussive beats and the uplifting infectious riffs seamlessly together to create a melodic, high energy journey. His sets are notorious for being filled with his own productions, many of which remain unheard unless you get to experience on of his marathon sets. From the Hard House sounds of EDM to the funky sounds of classic house. He is a DJ/Producer that has no boundaries and no limits.

ABEL

Club DJ Abel (born Abel Aguilera) started DJing in the late '70s after moving from his native N.Y.C. to Miami, FL. Soon after, the Spanish descendant had the opportunity to host his own radio show without leaving his job as a resident DJ in well-known local nightclubs, where spinning turntables became his passion. House music producer/remixer Ralphi Rosario joined him in the late '90s to found a production/mixing team called Rosabel.

Abel debuted in January 2000 with the release of The Party of a Lifetime, followed by the 2001 non-stop mixed Circuit Sessions, Vol. 6, featuring his first solo single, "Control." Around this time the DJ became associated with Alegria, event organizer Rick Sena's elaborate and cutting-edge series of gay dance parties. Abel: Alegria from 2004 and Alegria Musica from 2005 both paid tribute to the lavish events.

RALPHI ROSARIO

Because of his love for music and his need to share it with others, Ralphi Rosario began spinning records for friends at many events during the late ‘70’s. Almost a quarter of a century later, he still spins for legions of friends at massive events around the globe in such countries as Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Brazil, Portugal, Canada, and others. His acumen as a DJ for the dance floor is undeniable. Shortly after his start as a DJ, Ralphi created dance/house music history as a member of the world renowned Chicago HOT MIX FIVE. The HOT MIX FIVE has received legendary status, world wide. Radio Station WBMX was on its way to giving birth to the House music pioneers of Chicago. Ralphi delivered his DJ mix magic to the masses over the airwaves for over a decade from 1980-1994. Add to this his original production work and remixing talents and the music industry had a recipe for a legend in the making. To this day, he maintains a DJ residency in his hometown Chicago.

Many believe legendary status was achieved when Ralphi’s “You Used to Hold Me” crossover hit became an overnight house music classic. Not resting on his laurels, Ralphi Rosario has never stopped creating music for the global masses. Besides introducing the classic “You used to hold me”, Ralphi has worked/remixed countless mega pop stars including The Pussycat Dolls, Kylie Minogue, Lady Gaga, Gloria Estefan, Jo Jonas, Madonna, Mariah Carey, Rihanna, Depeche Mode, Jennifer Lopez, Cher, Dave Aude, Ricky Martin, The Ting Tings, Kelly Rowland, Donna Summer, & Goldfrapp. That’s just skimming the surface of his remix credits. In 2012 He received a Grammy Nomination for his work as Rosabel with his long time production partner DJ Abel (As his Rosabel Moniker). The song was Rihanna’s “Only girl (in the world). With major labels, His credits include Atlantic, Arista, Epic/Sony, Island Def Jam, Columbia & countless others. His indy label credits include Grammy Winner Peter Rauhofers’ Star 69, and Tommy Boy records. Most of Ralphi’s own production work has proven to also be hugely successful. These came in the forms of the Latin infused “Brinca” and the monster crossover “Take Me Up” with vocalist sensation and longtime friend Donna Blakely. “Take me up” reached number 1 European status, remaining in the number 1 spot in 1998 for 2 solid weeks. In 2000, “Don’t You Want My Love” with Debbie Jacobs, (collaborating as Rosabel) and the popular “CHA CHA HEELS” by Rosabel Featuring Jeanie Tracy. Both were featured on HBO’s ‘Sex and the City’, Showtime’s ‘Queer as Folk’ & the TV sensation ‘Do you think you can dance’. Ralphi Rosario & Long time co producer Craig J. Snider also contributed musical spots for the HBO Series “SEX AND THE CITY” All 6 seasons while the show was in full operation. His music production & credits go well beyond the calling of the DJ and dance floor.

Ralphi Rosario’s career is chock full of creativity and major accomplishment. There is no question to his many Global fans, colleagues, and friends in the music industry that he is in fact, a mega producer; Grammy Nominee and a full on Electronic and Dance Music Legend.

BINOMIO

Since the first time he put his headphones on in 2003, Binomio has been a constant reference not only at the Madrid clubbing scene but also at all the important parties all over the world. From the
national and international desk, Binomio, merges his passion for dance music with the restlessness of the public, creating a perfect harmony between the desk and the dance floor. His energetic sets
are composed of force full rhythms but with loads of groove, voices and suggestive melodies.

Binomio masters to convert those elements into a perfect explosion for the dance floor. From 2015 is part of the team Dj's of We Party.

DANNY VERDE

Danny Verde is a musical prodigy who has worked in all aspects of music; including house, dance-pop production, DJ, song-writing and vocalist. He lives just outside Milan in Northern Italy, where his recording studio “Holab Studio” has been home to many collaborations with international labels, artists, and producers.

Danny has participated in more than 40 productions from 1994 to the present-spanning house to pop music. His first big success was with the Italian S.M.S. project, which produced two hit singles, including, “La Vie C'est Fantastique" in 2001, which was number 1 on the official Italian dance chart, as well as the follow up, "Just A Bit Of Chaos", which reached both number 1 in Italy and Brasil on Time Records. His next project was the huge international single "La Isla Bonita", a cover of the classic Madonna tune. The song was issued under the band name SQUEEZE UP and was published in more than 20 countries. The hit made it into the top 10 singles chart in France and was supported by a videoclip shot in Marbella, Spain. SQUEEZE UP'S next single was another Madonna cover, “Who’s That Girl”, and was licensed in Scandinavia, Japan, Russia and Greece. In 2008 Danny released the house track "Pushin To The Top"; in collaboration with The Halmadaxx Team and with the help of International DJ’s reached number 1 on the Ministry Of Sound download chart; number 1 on the Djdownload.com chart and was top 10 on the Beatport progressive house chart. Thanks to massive support from the hottest DJ's in Europe, above all in Spain and the UK, “Pushin To The Top” reached also number 1 on the Matinèe Group DJ's chart (Barcelona), which is one of the largest club promoter’s group in the world. "Pushin To The Top" has been officially released in Italy, Spain, America, Russia, Switzerland and Portugal. From that moment on, many important international labels and artists are hiring Danny to do remixes of their current productions; including Kult Records (New York), Interlabel (Germany), Blanco y Negro (Spain), Divucsa (Spain), Pagano DJ (London), Andrea Carnell (New York), G-Martin (Matinèe Group), Taito Tikaro (Matinèe Group), Hector Fonseca (Star 69 New York) etc.

Danny's remixes consistently land in the top of the charts and are played in clubs worldwide. Recently, his mix of the anthem hit “Open Up Your Heart” produced for the top American singer Andrea Carnell (currently in the Billboard USA chart), was included in the “Subliminal Sessions” compilation put together by the legendary dj/producer Erick Morillo, for the prestigious UK label Defected / Strictly Rhythm. He has recently released his last single “Express Yourself”, in cooperation with the renowned international dj Phil Romano and performed by the english singer Anna Buckley, that is already at the top of the most important downloading stores charts
